Sandra Walker (Ellen Pompeo) is a renowened art critic and expert. She is called when a priceless painting is stolen from a gallery in Spain. She immediately seeks the help of her ex-husband Bruce (William Baldwin) to look after their young daughter. Bruce agrees. He arranges time off from his job as a New York Police detective. However, as the days go by, he becomes concerned about Sandra’s welfare. Bruce decides that he better go to Spain and make sure that Sandra is alright. When he gets there he is surprised to learn that she has been working with one of her art colleagues, Daniel (Abel Folk). Daniel and Sandra were once a couple before she chose Bruce. Bruce decides to pack up and fly back to New York when several mysterious murders occur. It seems that people close to this case are being targeted. He decides to use his detective ability and connections to help Sandra and Daniel before someone else is murdered.
