Charlie Conway (Joshua Jackson) and the other members of “The Mighty Ducks” hockey team are accepted to a prestigious prep school, Eden Hall Academy. The team receives scholarships and is Eden Hall’s new Junior Varsity hockey team. The existing Varsity hockey team takes exception to this after some of their younger siblings are rejected from being admitted to Eden Hall, due to all the available spaces being taken up by the Mighty Ducks. On top of the abuse the Ducks are taking from the Varsity team, they clash with their new coach’s (Jeffery Nordling) training style, which is completely different from the former coach’s (Emilio Estevez) method. It takes the death of an old friend to get Charlie and the team on the right track.
