Legendary French inspector Jacques Clouseau (Steve Martin) is having a hard time with his new assignment - that of a traffic police officer. It seems that his glory days are over, but then a new threat to world's law & order emerges. The Tornado, a superthief, has stolen the Magna Carta, the Japanese Emperor's sword and the Shroud of Turin. To the horror of Chief Inspector Dreyfus (John Cleese), bumbling Clouseau is the only one who can stop him.
