Strange things start happening in the kingdom. Once filled by oceans, open fields and clear skies, the kingdom is beeing destroyed and people began to behave strangely. They see dragons, even though dragons were not allowed in the lands occupied by people. Ged the Wizard (Timothy Dalton) wants to find out more about what causes this weird events and starts investigating. During his trip, he comes across Prince Arren (Junichi Okada). He looks like a shy kid, but inside he has a dark side, which gives him power, especially when it comes to protecting Therru (Blaire Restaneo). For the witch Kumo this kid is the perfect bait. She uses the boy's fear against the only man who can help him, Ged. Arren must rediscover his love for life because evil forces threat his existence.
