Zak Gibbs (Jesse Bradford) is a normal teenager, with normal teenage problems. That is until his discovery of a special watch among his father's (Robin Thomas) things. His dad, a scientist, has developed the watch along with colleague Dr. Earl Dopler (French Stewart) and the device has the power to 'freeze time' - creating 'hypertime' for the wearer. At first Zak and his friend Francesca (Paula Garcés) have great fun with the watch, but soon draw the attention of a shadowy government agency who see the potential in using the device for more sinister purposes. But are Zak and Francesca alone in hypertime?
