Anthony Zimmer (Dimitri Rataud) is a consummate fraudster who is in the spotlight of all the policemen of the world. Nobody knows his face. However, in the race which confronts those who want to catch him, there is someone who plays with advantage. This is Akerman (Sami Frey), a police officer quite peculiar: he knows that Zimmer would risk his life to see Chiara (Sophie Marceau) again. A good day, the girl date with the inaccessible man, but only receives a message from him. In order to confuse his pursuers, Zimmer asks Chiara address to a stranger so that all believe it is the person who they are looking for.
