Robinhood has a daughter? In "Princess of Thieves" he surely does. The spunky young Gwyn (Keira Knightley), who has been sheltered in a monastery under Friar Tuck for much of her life, is just like her father (Stuart Wilson). She is gifted at archery and longs for adventure, but Robin is determined to keep his promise to her late mother that he will keep her safe. Robin and the witty Will Scarlett (Crispin Letts) continue on a mission to conduct Prince Phillip to England and see him crowned, but are captured by the Sheriff of Nottingham before they can do so. When Gwyn discovers the unfortunate turn of events, she dresses as a man and seeks to complete the mission and rescue her father. Joining her is the timid monk named Froderick. Braving deceit and great odds, Gywn is able to join the wayward Philip and inspire him to be the leader he ought to be. But will ambition and courage be enough to crown the prince and rescue Robin and Will Scarlett? It would take a Princess of Thieves...
