A Los Angeles cop, Rolland Sallinger(Steven Seagal) who escapes being murdered by a greedy partner who double crosses him heads for New Mexico after being forced off the job. In New Mexico he works as a bodyguard for the beautiful daughter, Nikita (Liezel Carstens) of a rich businessman, Conner Wells (Steph DuVall). Mobsters kidnap the daughter and he must track them down and rescue her before they carry through on their promise to kill her. Can Rolland take care of the kidnappers by himself and save the girl or is the mob just too powerful for one man to tackle?
