In a world that is devastated following the impacts of World War III a man known simply as Nomad (Patrick Swayze) wanders the land looking only for revenge against Sho (Christopher Neame). Sho murdered his mentor and it is for this reason that he seeks him, having lost everything in the war but his great ability as a swordsman. When he happens to stumble upon a village of settlers that are being harrassed by Damnil (Anthony Zerbe), he becomes involved with one of the local farmers, Kasha (Lisa Niemi). He then agrees to stand against Damnil and his treacherous minions in order to help the villagers and hopefully to get revenge against Sho.
