Red Cliff II is the second part in a historic epic. Set in the Han Dynasty of 208 A. D. China, clever leader of the Eastern Wu tribe, Zhou Yu (Tony Leung Chiu Wai), camps his forces on Red Cliff near those of Cao Cao (Zhang Fengyi). As a typhoid outbreak ravages his own men, Cao plans to use it to his advantage. As Zhou gets ready to lead only 30,000 men into battle against Cao's enormous emperor, secret messages are relayed to Zhou's camp. As the battle gets close to eruption, we are introduced to Zhou's wife (Lin Chi-Ling) who will play an important part in the turn of events.
