Will (Bill Milner)) has no father and his mother has the family involved with a very strict religious community called the Plymouth Brethren. Their beliefs mandate that no outside music, TV or other communication with the people called "worldies" is allowed. Once day, Will meets Lee Carter (Will Poulter). Lee is the ‘bad boy’ of the local school. He introduces Will into a world that he has never known. Lee’s secret passion is making movies. The two secretly watch the movie "First Blood" and come up with a plan to film a sequel. Will is convinced to be the stuntman for the movie. Because Lee is so good at cooking up plans, the Brethren are never alerted to the two boy’s friendship. But with their growing film making success, the other kids stand in line to become their friends. But when a sweet French girl Didier Revol (Jules Sitruk) comes into the picture, their friendship just might not survive their first crush.
