“Red Sonja” is a story about a female barbarian in a magical fantasy world of course named after the movie’s title, Red Sonja (Brigitte Nielsen). In this world an evil tyrant, Queen Gedren (Sandahl Bergman) seeks great power and slaughters the keeper of a talisman, stealing power for her own devices. Now Red Sonja, the sister of the keeper wants revenge for this and is allied with Kalidor (Arnold Schwarzenegger) the talisman’s master. Together the two team with a Chinese swordmaster (Tad Horino), young Prince Tarn (Ernie Reyes Jr.) and his servant, Falkon (Paul L. Smith). Together the five of them venture forth and overcome many obstacles till they arrive at Gedren’s castle where Sonja and the evil tyrant face off for one last time.
