There are two warring clans called the Heiki and Genji who run a town in the 1800s in Nevada, but everyone there is Japanese, and they dress like Western anime characters, while the buildings look like Western ones done in Japanese design. A solitary drifter (Hideyaki Ito) is a skilled gunslinger who arrives and must choose a clan to side with, but he does not want to be with either of them. Both clans are battling each other for a secret treasure chest. They make almost all of the town’s citizens leave except for the sheriff and Ruriko (Kaori Moimoi). She is the mother-in-law of Shizuka (Yoshino Kimura). Pringo (Quentin Tarantino) appears briefly.
