When John T. Booker (Chuck Norris) goes to look up some of his buddies from their time in Vietnam, he discovers that a lot of them have died. Not only are these guys dead, but their deaths are suspect. With his girlfriend Margaret (Anne Archer), Booker decides to track down the remaining members of his unit. He quits his job as a teacher and hits the road. As he meets with his old army buddies, he finds out that some of the missions they were on in Vietnam were not legitimate. In fact, several members of the unit lost their lives because of a failed mission. Using the skills that he thought he’d not need again, Booker vows to get to the root of what is turning out to be a conspiracy that reaches to high government levels. He escaped Vietnam with his life. Will he escape the truth?
