"Jui Kuen" sees the adventures of a young student, Wong Fei Hung (Jackie Chan) who is studying the art of drunken master. Fei earns the nickname, Naughty Panther due to his lack of discipline. Misbehaving when he should be studying Kung Fu is what lands him into trouble and his father sends him to practice with his sadistic uncle who is also a Master that has a knack for crippling his students. Fei’s own practice is put to the test when an evil landowner hires an assassin (Hwang Jang lee) to kill his father back home. Fei tries to beat the assassin but is defeated and humiliated. So he then returns to his uncle and begs him to teach him the art of the drunken master.
