Almost every detail proves that a horse feeder found dead has been kicked by his horse. But the post-mortem autopsy shows quite the opposite, the horse feeder had been hit to death. The detective assigned to the case is Kurt Wallander (Krister Henriksson). When asked, neighbors confirm that the horse feeder had lived alone, but he, also, had visits from a certain mysterious woman more than several times. In the beautiful state of Skåne, an amazing thing on the farm shows a hole new side of the horse feeder. Kurt finds that there is a hidden, dark world that didn't want to see the daylight.
